If Jail Weddings had a single vital early winner, it was "Somebody Lonely." Gloriously wrecked Shadow Morton-style pop done with Dangerhouse flair, Midniters wildness and Lee Hazlewood's winning cynicism from members of the Starvations, Fool's Gold, the Flash Express and tuff bands from Hollywood streets without streetlights. "Honeymoon Loop" is a quality B-side but "Somebody Lonely"—that's the one that still makes the front row scream.
